Winter Luxe Looks – Statement Sleeves

April 19, 2017

One of the key looks this winter is the Statement Sleeve.  Be it Bell, Ruffles or Layers, a statement sleeve can take any basic top or dress & turn it into something amazing!

Budget or high end there’s a look that will suit everyone’s budget.

Don’t feel overwhelmed by a trend like the statement sleeve.  It’s easy to avoid the crazy Beethoven or Hippie look by pairing what you may consider this “over the top” piece with the wardrobe basics you already own.

  1. Pair a statement sleeve top with basic bottoms.  Jeans, pants or a straight skirt are your friend. Make the sleeve your focus.
  2. Don’t be afraid of cropped tops.  They’re a wonderful trans-seasonal item!  Be sure to add a long tee or singlet underneath to hide that bare midriff though!
  3. Keep statement sleeves the focus on your dress by keeping your shoes simple.  A basic heel or pair of sneakers should keep your sleeves on top!
  4. Keep accessories to a minimum – remember your sleeves are doing all the work for you!
