For the last 10 years bathers have been something I have tried not to wear. They were a necessity, not a fashion item.
Being a Mum to two small children meant time in bathers was work time. There were drownings to avoid, tantrums in the surf to contend with, constant holding, carrying & lugging not only the children but all our stuff on both land & water.
Practicality reigned with my swimwear & no time or money was spent on them. In reality, my time in & by the water has been pretty lousy for the last decade!
But now, the kids are older & it’s time to put back some time & energy into bathers. They no longer have to be just worn out of necessity, I can start living the Insta dream & choose some swimmers that I actually love!
I can see me now, lounging poolside, cocktail in hand with not a splashing, screaming child in sight…… sigh!
I’m loving my Capriosca Blue Crane One Piece bathers – especially the Boho vibe of the print. I love the coverage, I’m an advocate of always covering up with a rashie, so the sleeves give me the safety with a touch of glam!
There’s a gorgeous palm tree detail on the front zip too. And the rouching on the front gives extra support & flattery. Love too that there is a bra cup & padding inside this one piece for extra shape. You can totally make this swimsuit your own by adjusting the zip for a lot or just a little cleavage! Whether I’m lounging or body boarding, I’m pretty sure these bathers will keep me covered!
The quality of these Capriosca bathers is amazing. The fabric hugs in all the right places & there’s no pinching or pulling. (I’m wearing a size 12)
Big busted or small, a quality swimsuit will fit those babies just right.
Large or none at all, there will be a pant to suit your behind.
And if you still like to cover up, there are some pretty nice board shorts & rashies out there too.
And best of all, when a swimsuit actually fits you like you want it to, you feel pretty good in it! You just might need to try on a few before you find the perfect pair!
Don’t forget to wash your bathers out in cold fresh water after each wear to keep them in tip top shape.
With bathers this season anything goes! It’s easy to find a style to suit – try looking at some styles online before hitting the shops so you know what you’re looking for before you get there.
The Boho vibe is still a Spring/Summer fashion trend & it extends to swimmers too!
Keeping with the Boho print of my gorgeous Capriosca cossie – I’ve found some boho inspired pieces that will suit everyone no matter your shape or budget – even you!
Are you loving the Boho vibe? Can you see yourself in any of these styles? Let me know what sort of swimmers you like to wear & why – I love your comments!
