To be honest, I’ve been a bit lost since my Fox in Flats Style Dare has finished. I really enjoyed having a prompt everyday, now I’ll be back to the same old jeans & t-shirts day in day out! Oh well. Until next we meet Style Dare!!
There’s something forbidden in the wardrobes of our house & it’s sequins. I am a throw it all in the washing machine kind of gal & sequins just don’t cut it! So I did struggle with Sparkles, this Country Road cardigan has a gorgeous silver sparkly thread running through it, so there’s the brief fulfilled! My leopard print tee is from a little unknown shop in Hong Kong, the trusty Trenery jeans & Converse. All perfect for heading out to watch the Grand Final at a friend’s place on a cold & windy Perth day.
28. Talking Tops
I do love a top that talks, I have a few. Haven’t had as much wear out of this one yet, but plan to get it out over the summer. I got it again, in Hong Kong. So many little shops with cheap but cute pieces! My necklace is from Lovisa & I bought it recently to wear to a friend’s wedding.
This brooch was my Nana’s, it was handmade & given to her by her parent’s on her 21st birthday. She in turn gave it to me on my 21st birthday. It is made from an amazing opal which came from the WA goldfields where she grew up, a little town called Kununoppin. I remember my Nana wearing this brooch & always marvelling at the stone when I was a little girl. I confess that I rarely wear it, I’m too worried I will lose it, but I think that might have to change!
30. All Black
Too easy! My entire wardrobe is based around black! My jeans are A Brand, the skinny boyfriend jean from Miss Shop at Myer, you can buy them on sale here. They are a great purchase I’ve had so much wear out of them already. The tee is last season Country Road & my flats are Calvin Klein bought in New York from Designer Shoe Warehouse.
Did you take part in the Style Challenge or do you have your own? I’ve seriously considered it, just to help me wear something a little more interesting each day! Do you have a style all of your own anyway?
