I have a little girl crush on Tash Sefton & her amazing easy going style.
Tash Sefton is one half of amazingly successful Australian fashion blog They All Hate Us, with long time friend Elle Ferguson.
As much as I admire Tash & Elle for their amazingly successful blog, the rumoured $750 a pop Instagram plugs, & the endless collaborations, it’s all about their personal style for me.
These two are Australian style personified.
For me personally though, it’s Tash’s style that I am the most inspired by.
Tash creates & wears looks that I can see myself wearing. Totally relatable but also one to admire, she’s a mother, a businesswoman & an artist.
Her look blends high end fashion like Chanel, Louis Vuitton & Gucci, with high street fashion basics that the average Australian woman can afford & access easily.
The Tash Sefton look is all about:
- basics – tees, shirts, stripes & prints
- statement shoes & bags
- natural hair & make up
- low maintenance style
Anything Tash wears is in hot demand – that’s been the case especially over the last month or so when Tash has been spotted wearing a beloved Australian iconic label, Sussan. Both the dress & shirts she has worn on her Instagram accounts have sold out almost immediately as fashion savvy Aussie women rush to get their own piece of Tash’s look!
Tash has also just featured in an editorial with Country Road (Tash is also a talented artist – you can see the post here) & although the pieces chosen for the post weren’t Tash’s own, I love the sneak peek into how Tash styles up a simple shirt dress that I too can pluck off the rack of a store at my local shopping centre.
Inspired by Tash’s style I’ve used her Instagram accounts to track down some of her amazing looks that we can appreciate right here! And whilst not all of these pieces are exactly the same, they’re pretty close! Happy clicking!

Are you a fan of Tash Sefton? Or do you have another favourite celebrity you look to for style advice? Or is there a fashion icon out there you’d love to emulate but you just aren’t brave enough? I’d love to know!
