I totally fell in love with this Marc Jacobs Nomad Saddle Bag at the Bali International Airport last time I was there. It retails online for about $300. When I started looking for in online back at home I realised the “guitar strap” is an actual trend that’s happening in bags right now!
The most basic of bags are receiving an upgrade with embellished straps taking their inspiration from the humble guitar strap. Tapestry, bold prints & colours & embellishments are taking centre stage around the globe on all sorts of bags.
Most of the Guitar Strap bags have a detachable strap. Or you can buy the straps on their own!
That means you update your own bags at home or swapping your straps around from bag to bag to make your own creations & updated bags. Pretty cool!
Or if you’re really keen, you can DIY your own at home! Here’s one to get you started – here.
I’ve put together some of the best guitar strap bags out there right now, starting with Luxe & working our way down to Less! First up, that Marc Jacobs bag I’ve got my eye on, even though it’s not the priciest!
