The cases were forced shut (even the extra ones!), the hand luggage weighed & re weighed.
Breakky at the cafe next door, then tearful goodbyes & they were gone.
Cath, Mel & I remained, we spent the day soaking up the SF atmosphere, Cath got her nails done, we ate, we drank & we shopped a little more.
Cath said her goodbyes late that afternoon, flying back to Perth via LA & Brisbane.
Mel & I headed out to Mel’s Drive-in on Geary Street, an authentic 50s diner. We ate cheeseburgers & drank the largest cup of Coke post mix ever! Played “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey (holiday favourite) on the juke box, awesome!
Today we had a great sleep in before heading out for some breakfast in Union Square. Jeepers it’s quiet without the rest of the WAGS!!
Mel & I took it very easy today, last minute shopping (naturally), the massive DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse), Macy’s & Bloomingdales to name a few. We had the cheapest lunch we’ve had the entire trip at a food hall & an early dinner.
Spent our last US dollars on Hershey Kisses & the famous San Franciscan chocolates Ghirardelli. Packing our bags & prepping for our flight to Hong Kong tomorrow morning.
Thank you San Francisco, it’s been a blast!
